Due to changes in compliance recommendations, Adverse Action delivery needs to be clearly owned by the employer. Hireology and our background check vendor, Accurate have email content necessary to carry out this work autonomously utilizing our ATS platform.
Review these email templates and add them to your Hireology account to send directly to applicants from the Hireology platform.
Additional information about the Adverse Action process: If the employer would like to dispute any history discovered - Accurate will still manage that as they are the ones furnishing the background report. Candidates can dispute directly with Accurate
Pre Adverse Action Process
To ensure accuracy and compliance, we recommend using our pre-written email templates for Pre-Adverse Action Letters. You can find these templates in the "Templates" section of your Hireology account. Simply select the appropriate template and enter your employee’s information to generate the letter. Please note that it is important to send the Pre-Adverse Action Letter as soon as possible, as it is a legal requirement to inform candidates of their rights before taking any adverse action.
