Tags are a great way to categorize applicants and candidates based on attributes reflecting skills, certifications, experience, or other details. Tagging an applicant or candidate enables you to search for and quickly identify profiles that might not usually be grouped together but have similar qualities.
In this article we will cover:
Assigning Tags
Follow the steps below to assign a tag to an applicant or candidate.
Click the 'Jobs' tab in the left navigation and select the job title. From any hiring stage, click on the candidate's name to open the candidate drawer. Select "add" next to the tag icon
Type in the tag and select "Add"
Assigned tags will also be noted on the "Applied" stage for quick reference.
You can also assign tags in bulk to a group of applicants or candidates who have applied for the same job! To do that, follow the steps below. Click the 'Jobs' tab in the top left of your hiring site. Click on a job title. Click "Select Multiple Candidates".
Select the checkbox next to the candidate's name and then press "select bulk action".
Select "Add Tag" from the bulk action drop-down.
Enter your tag(s), select "Add Tags".
Tip: We recommend keeping tags short and straightforward, think one to three words. Use the Comments tool for lengthier notes!
Searching Candidates by Tags
To search for applicants or candidates you have tagged, follow the steps below.
