Adding Comments to an Applicant's or Candidate's Profile
To use the Comments feature, click 'Jobs' in the left navigation of your Hireology account, then click on a job title.
Choose either the Applicants or Candidates tab to locate people who have applied for the job. Click on a person's name to open their profile or select the 'Comment' icon. Type your notes into the comments section. You also have the option to attach a file if needed. Click '+Add Comments' to save your notes.

You will see your comment logged at the bottom of the tool along with a date.

@Mentioning Other Users or Groups in Comments
To keep all job discussions in one place, you can now use @ mentions to tag individual users or entire groups directly in job comments. This helps your team stay aligned, creates a clear audit log of conversations, and reduces the need to communicate about jobs outside the platform.

You will see your comment logged at the bottom of the tool with the @mentioned user shaded in gray. The user will be notified via email to review the comment.
Deleting Internal Comments
If you would like to remove a comment from an applicant's or candidate's profile, you can easily do that! Within the Comments tool, click 'Delete' beside the comment you would like to remove.

Deleted comments will also be removed from the activity applicant's or candidate's History page.
