When an applicant meets the minimum qualifications for a job, the next step is to advance them to the Candidate stage. After doing this, the options you selected in your Hiring Steps when opening the job become available. These options can vary but typically include things like Interviews, Background Checks, Reference Checks, and / or Assessments.
In this article we will cover:
Advancing an Applicant to Candidate
To move someone from Applicant to Candidate, click 'Jobs' in the top, left of your Hireology account. Next, click on the job you would like to access.
To advance a single applicant, click the 'Advance' button to the right of their name.
You can also advance multiple applicants by checking the boxes to select them, then clicking the 'Advance' button in the heading.

People you've advanced will now appear under the 'Candidates' tab where you'll be able to take action on the other items from your Hiring Steps.

After a Candidate has been evaluated through the Hiring Steps, don't forget to Decline them, if they are not the right fit for the job, or Hire them, if you've found the right person!
