Your Hireology account includes interview guides that you can use when conducting interviews. You can edit existing interview guides or create your own.
In this article we will cover:
Creating an Interview Guide
Begin by clicking 'Management' and then 'Hiring Steps' in the left navigation.
You can click the 'Interviews' tab to review existing Interview Guides or select 'Create New' and select 'Interview' from the drop-down menu.

On the interview creation page, you can choose from our bank of questions or add your own.
To add your own question, begin typing in the 'Add a custom question field', then click the 'Add' button. If you'd like to make this question available for future use on other interviews, check the 'Save to question bank' box.
To search our database of questions, type keywords in the 'Search' field or check the boxes next to the competencies you would like to measure in your interview to produce sample questions. If you see something you like, click the green dots to the right of the question to drag and drop it into the 'Interview Questions' portion of the page.

Drag and drop questions from the interview bank on the left into the 'Interview Questions' list on the right.

Once you have your interview created to your standards, click 'Save' to save your changes. If you don't need to make any further changes, click 'Exit' to leave the page.
Manage Interview Guides for a Specific Job
You can update the interview guide associated with an interview step directly from the job’s Hiring Steps. From here, you can swap the guide being used, preview or edit it, or remove the interview step from the job.
To get started, open the job and select Edit. You can access Edit Job from either the Jobs page using the job’s overflow menu,
or from the candidate pipeline under Job Details → Edit.
Once you're in Edit Job, navigate to the Hiring Steps.
Under In Progress, locate the interview step you want to update.
To swap the interview guide, open the dropdown for that interview step and select a different available interview guide.
To preview or edit the existing interview guide, select the three-dot menu next to the step and choose Preview/Edit. To remove the interview step from the job, select the three-dot menu and choose Delete.
When you're finished, select Save & Continue to save your changes.
Note: These changes apply to the hiring steps for the specific job you're editing. Swapping the selected guide changes which guide is used for that interview step on this job.
