Hards Skills tests run through our partner Findly/SkillCheck are a great way to measure things a candidate says they can do as it pertains to the job function they potentially will be filling. For example, if a candidate tells you that yes, I am super proficient at Excel, you can order one of the Excel assessments to confirm what the candidate tells you is true.
To start, click on the 'Testing' tab from within the job itself, next to the candidate you'd like to order an assessment. Click on 'Order skills tests' to bring you to the testing options page.
Towards the top of the page, you'll see a heading for 'Skills Tests'. Click on the dropdown menu and select the category you would like to search.
A menu with all assessments that fall within that category will appear. Look through the list and click 'Add Test' to any test you would like to send to the candidate.
You can exit out of the menu at any time, whether you select a test or not by clicking on the 'x' button in the upper, right hand corner of the menu.
Repeat this process until you have all of the assessments you would like to send the assessment included in your Order Summary.
We recommend that you only send your candidate 3-5 of these assessments. They can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes, depending on the type of assessment you send them. If you're sending these in conjunction with a Caliper, we recommend limiting the Hard Skills tests to 2 or 3.
If you're ready to fire these off to your candidate, scroll down to the bottom of the page. You'll see a 'Continue' button. Click this to move to the order review page.
Confirm the candidate's name and email address are correct then click the 'Continue' button. Your candidate will receive an email from firstname.lastname@example.org via skillcheck.com to complete the assessment(s).
