Hireology provides the option to add custom questions to any of your applications. These are open-ended questions that require a typed response from applicants, often yielding better insight.

Adding Custom Questions to an Application Form
To begin, click the 'Hiring Steps' tab in the left navigation.
Click on the 'Applications' tab and then the title of the application you want to edit.
Now select 'edit' to start making changes.
Next, click on the 'Custom Questions' tab on the left side of the screen. You can edit any existing custom questions you've already entered or create new questions by typing them into the 'Custom Question' text field, then clicking 'Add Question'.
Checking the box to the right of a question will add it to the application as 'optional' while clicking the asterisk will make it 'required'. Select 'Save' when complete.
