The Hired stage is where candidates land once you’ve decided to bring them on board. It focuses on key next steps: syncing the new hire to a payroll or HRIS system and starting onboarding, if applicable.
In this article, we will cover:
Key Features
Move to Hire Stage/ Hired Date
You can move a candidate to Hired from any pipeline stage by selecting the dropdown and choosing Move to Hired. You can also move a candidate forward within the Candidate Drawer. When you advance a candidate to Hired, select their hire date and confirm the hire.
Each candidate in Hired displays the date they were marked as hired. You can also filter Hired candidates by hired date.
Sync to Payroll
Sync hired candidates to a supported payroll or HRIS system. Available integrations and setup requirements vary by account. Select Sync next to the hired candidate’s name to follow the steps for your integration. Once synced, the candidate’s card displays the sync status.
Start Onboarding
If onboarding is enabled for your Hireology account, a link on each hired candidate’s card takes you to the onboarding tab. From there, you can set a start date and assign an onboarding workflow.
Move Back to In Progress
If needed, you can move a hired candidate back to In Progress. This can be useful if a hire falls through before their start date or if additional steps need to be completed before onboarding.
Messaging a Hired Candidate
You can continue to communicate with candidates after they have been hired. Select the candidate’s name from the Hired tab to open the Candidate Drawer, where you can send an email or SMS message. The updated drawer provides more room for the hiring workflow and includes quick comments and tags.
