Overview: Indeed is prioritizing sponsored job postings on their platform and, in turn, deprioritizing organic job postings. This is a policy update that was made for all job listings (direct to Indeed, ATS feeds, etc.) and has been implemented by Indeed as of early 2026. Hireology is here to support our users through this change, and one core challenge highlighted here revolves around escalating and troubleshooting customer issues regarding our existing organic feed.
The Hireology organic feed to Indeed is working as intended, and there are no technical issues with our overall feed to Indeed. With that in mind, we recommend our customers take these proactive steps to verify that Indeed is pulling organic job postings effectively.
- Verify that your job postings adhere to our previously established best practices
- Confirm that your business has an Indeed Company Page and has claimed that page
- Clear your browser cache - Hireology has found that this could be impacting what results users see in their searches
- Reach out to Indeed (either a direct account representative or general support) and provide them with your Hireology Career Site URL - by proactively letting Indeed know you’re requesting this source as your job posting source of truth, you may mitigate potential visibility issues in the future

- When interacting with Indeed, you may be asked to confirm your Indeed Source Name - if that happens, please reach out to our support team at support@hireology.com and we’ll be happy to provide that info
Our customers may hear from Indeed that there is a new minimum threshold of sponsorship spend to drive applicant flow - and this may be true depending on the metro area you’re posting to. This change will impact your business whether posting through Hireology, posting through another ATS, or posting directly to Indeed - but Hireology is uniquely positioned to help our customers through this change due to our ability to sponsor postings directly to Indeed through our platform
