What is LinkedIn Company ID And Why Do I Need It?
Every company with a company page on LinkedIn has a LinkedIn company ID. This company ID is a unique value of 6 to 9 numbers. ATS partners like Hireology are required to send a company’s LinkedIn Company ID when sending jobs to LinkedIn.
How Do I Find My Company ID?
There are two ways to find your LinkedIn company ID.
Option 1: Use this option if you have jobs posted on your LinkedIn company page.
Go to the Jobs section of your company page and click 'See All Jobs'. Your Company ID will be the value in the URL after f_C=. Copy just that portion of the URL.
Option 2: Use this option if there are no jobs posted on your LinkedIn company page.
Click Jobs to begin a job search. Click the Company dropdown and select your company, then click 'Show Results'.
Your Company ID will be the value in the URL after f_C=. Copy just that portion of the URL.
For customers with multiple locations, you can use the parent organization’s company ID or the individual company ID if you have separate company pages for each location. Locations will need to work with their parent organization to determine best practices on where they want child location jobs to appear on LinkedIn.
Important Note: If you decide to use the parent organization's company ID for your individual locations, you will still need to enter the parent company's LinkedIn Company ID for each individual location in Hireology.
What If I Don't Have a Company Page or ID?
Without a company code, your jobs may not appear on LinkedIn. If you don’t have a company page, you can create one on LinkedIn by following these instructions.
Adding Your LinkedIn Company ID to Your Hireology Account
To enter your company ID in Hireology, click 'Hi' and select 'Settings'.
On the Company Profile page, scroll down to the Job Board Feed Settings and enter your company ID in the LinkedIn Company ID field. Select 'Update' to save changes.
Once entered, this code will be included with any public jobs sent to LinkedIn to ensure that they’re properly connected to your company page.
Submitting a Request to LinkedIn to Display Your Jobs
The final step to get your Hireology jobs on LinkedIn is to submit a ticket to their support team. First, make sure you are logged out of your personal LinkedIn account by clicking the profile picture at the top of your account and selecting 'Sign Out'.
Next, open the LinkedIn Support Center link. Click ‘Create a support ticket’ on the right of the page and fill out the contact fields.
For the final field of “Your Question” paste in the following template, replacing your company name and the URLs for your Hireology career site and your company’s LinkedIn profile.
- Hello, “Company name” has open jobs through Hireology that aren’t being posted to the LinkedIn Company Profile. Can we please update this LinkedIn Profile to include all open Hireology jobs? Thank you!

- LinkedIn Company Profile:<insert your LinkedIn Company Page URL>
