SMS templates are an excellent way to save time and ensure consistency when communicating with applicants.

Creating a Template from Settings
There are two ways you can create SMS message templates. Once a template is created, it will be available for use by all users within your account. If you have a multi-location hierarchy, templates created in the corporate or parent account will be available for all locations.
To create an SMS template, click 'Management' and then 'Templates' from the left navigation.
The Text Templates page will open by default. Click 'Create a New Text Template'.
Enter the title (for internal use only) and message body. You can also choose dynamic fields to incorporate into the message. Select 'Save Template' when complete.
Creating a Template While Texting a Candidate
To create an SMS template on the fly, select an applicant or candidate and click the 'SMS' button.
Click '+ Create New Template'.
Enter the title and message body. You can also choose dynamic fields to incorporate into the message.
The template will be saved to the 'Custom' section in your Text Template library.
Using Dynamic Fields

Editing a Template
To edit an existing SMS Template, click on 'Management' and then 'Templates' from the left navigation.
The Text Templates page will open by default. Click the dropdown arrow beside the template you would like to edit, then make the necessary changes. Click 'Save Changes' to save your work.
Archiving a Template
If you no longer wish to use a template you can archive it. This won’t delete it completely, but it will move it out of the list of templates that you see when sending messages to applicants.
To archive a templates, click on 'Management' and then 'Templates' from the left navigation.
Select 'Text Templates' and then click the dropdown arrow beside the template you would like to archive and click 'Archive this template'.
The template will be moved to the archive which you can access by clicking the 'Archived' tab.
To restore an archived template, click 'Unarchive Template'.
