Creating a Job Template
To create a job template, begin by clicking '+Open a Job' at the top or left of your Hireology account.
If you or someone else on your account has created a job template before, it will appear in the 'Job Template' list. Another option is to create a new job template by bypassing the 'Job Template" drop down and beginning to enter in the details of your role. Regardless of which option you choose, you will be able to select if you want the role to be a template within the job details page.
If you manage an account for a single or child location, you will see the option to 'Add template to this account'. This will add the role to your Job Template list for future use. If the account you manage is part of a larger organization with other child accounts you will also see 'Add template to all children location". Creating a template at the child account level will only enable the template to be used by other users in this specific child account.
Edit the details on each page and click 'Next' to advance through the job.
On the final page, select the job visibility, then click 'Finish'. It is only at this point that the job becomes a template and will be added to your library. If you would like to create a job template but are not ready to post the job publicly, you can choose 'Internal' visibility.
Editing a Job Template & Converting a Previously Posted Job to a Job Template
Now that you have opened a job and created a job template, there are a couple of places you can find it and edit it. Begin by clicking 'Jobs' in the left navigation of your Hireology account. If the job you want to edit is open, select the pencil 'edit' button to make changes. You can also use the check boxes in the 'Status & Visibility' section to edit pending or closed jobs.
If you want to make the job a template, check the box to 'Add template to this account' and/or "Add template to all children locations' if applicable on the 'Job Details' page.
Make changes as needed and click 'Save & Continue' at the bottom of each page to advance through the job. You can click 'Save & Exit' at any time to save your changes.
Now when you click '+Open a job' the job template will be available to choose from in the drop down.
