Resetting Your Password
You can reset your password on the login page by going to https://app.hireology.com/users/sign_in.
Click 'Forgot your password?' to begin the password reset process.
Next, enter the email address you use to log in and click 'Send Reset Link'.
Password Requirements
Passwords must be a minimum of 8 characters and include at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character and may not contain more than three repeating or sequential characters or any personal identifiers or usernames.
Did Not Receive Password Reset Email
If you have not received the password reset email within a few minutes, please be sure to check your spam or junk folder. If you still have not received the email, please confirm that you have spelled your email address properly and used the correct email address associated with your Hireology account.
Troubleshooting Password Reset Issues
If you get an error message that says "The Password Token is invalid" when attempting to reset your password, there are some things you can try. First, make sure that you have spelled your email address correctly and have entered the email address associated with your Hireology account.
If that does not resolve the issue, you may need to clear your browser cookies and cache. The steps to do this vary by browser but we've outlined the steps for the most popular browsers below.
Google Chrome
- Click the ellipses menu in the top, right corner of your browser.
- Hover over 'More Tools' and select 'Clear browsing data'.
- Set the Time Range to 'All Time' and check the boxes beside 'Cookies and other site data' and 'Cached images and files', then click 'Clear data'.
Safari
- With Safari open, click Safari in the top, left of your computer and select 'Clear History...'
- Choose 'all history' and click 'Clear History'.
Microsoft Edge
- Click the ellipses menu in the top, right corner of your browser.
- Select 'Settings', then click 'Privacy, search, and services'.
- Choose what to clear under Clear browsing data > Clear browsing data now.
- Select 'Cookies and other site data', and then click 'Clear now'.
Internet Explorer
- In Internet Explorer, select the 'Tools' button, hover over 'Safety', and then select 'Delete browsing history'.
- Select the 'Cookies and website data' check box and click 'Delete'.
Mozilla Firefox
- In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click 'Firefox' and select 'Preferences'.
- Click the menu button and select 'Settings'.
- Select the 'Privacy & Security' panel and go to the 'Cookies and Site Data' section.
- Click the 'Clear Data…' button.
- Click 'Clear'.
