Hireology integrates with Paylocity to help automate and streamline your onboarding process and seamlessly transfer new hire data from your Hireology account into Paylocity.

Enabling the Paylocity Integration
To enable the Paylocity integration for your Hireology account, please contact your Hireology Customer Success Manager or support@hireology.com. Our team will be able to activate the integration for your account.
You will also need to log into Paylocity HR & Payroll Here. Make sure to use an individual company ID login for access to marketplace. Once logged in use the Workspace selection menu in the upper-left corner of the page and choose 'Marketplace'. Using the Search & Navigation features of the Marketplace find the Hireology integration and select. One the next screen, click 'Begin Integration' in the upper right-hand corner. Follow the on-screen prompts to submit your integration request.
Connecting Your Paylocity Account
To connect your Paylocity account, we recommend that an Authorized Company Admin logs into Paylocity and follows this path:
WebLink Module > WebServices > =Intergrations > Browse Marketplace > Filter Name to HIREOLOGY > Begin Integration
This person will need to select whether they are a current Paylocity Onboarding customer, or if they will be using the Paylocity Staging product (staging is for Paylocity customers who use payroll or other products and haven’t purchased Paylocity Onboarding). Paylocity Staging can be used at no additional cost to capture and transfer new hire data from Hireology into Paylocity, and avoid duplicate entries into two different systems.
Activating the Paylocity Pro Integration

Find the Paylocity integration from the list of available options and click 'Connect'.
Syncing New Hires
Once Paylocity is connected to your Hireology account, you can transfer data for newly hired candidates. On the Jobs page, click a job title, then click the 'Hires' tab.
Click the Paylocity button to sync the new hire.
Enter a unique username for each new hire you want to sync - duplicates will not be permitted. Usernames must be between 3 and 20 characters in length and cannot include special characters other than a period or underscore. No username is needed if you are integrating with Paylocity Staging.
Once synced, new hire data will be displayed in Paylocity on the employee search dashboard and in the employee pick list when launching an event packet.
Note: Employee records will appear in the HR&PAYROLL module Employee Search once they are either
- 'Hired' after completing Onboarding Tasks
- 'Approved' in WebLink Staging after completing/clearing any data validation errors
