Customizing your profile and notifications
When first logging into Hireology, we recommend reviewing your profile details and customizing your notification settings based on your preferences.
To start, go to app.hireology.com and use your email and password to log in. If you have forgotten your password and wish to reset it, please click on ‘Forget your Password?’
Under "My Info" we recommend taking the following actions:
- Customize the email notifications you wish to receive for activity within your account.
- Update your time zone preferences to reflect your location
- Configure your account to use MFA or SSO
- Sync your calendar to streamline interview scheduling
Account Settings
Under account settings, you will see a myriad of templates and content you can customize and adjust, we will address those options in the Elevated Expertise lesson. For the sake of the initial account set up, we recommend you review and adjust the basic details about your business.
- Fill in or update your Company Profile with accurate details
- Enter your LinkedIn Company ID to ensure jobs opened in Hireology are accurately mapped to the LinkedIn job board.
Adding Users and Adding Users
In the "Users" page you can build custom user roles and invite other team members that will have a part in the recruiting and hiring process to join your Hireology account.
We recommend first building out user roles.
- Under "users" you will see the user roles "admin" and "user" already available to you, however, you can create a new user role and select the actions you want to be associated with that permission.

Invite team members to join your Hireology account. When inviting them, select the use role you intend for them to have based the level of access you want them to have.
