To create an applicant audience list, begin by clicking 'Launch Referrals' in your Hireology account.
Next, click the ‘Applicants’ tab in the referrals portal. Your Hireology applicants will be automatically synced to this page.
Click the ‘Filters’ button to choose the criteria for your list. You will be able to filter by Applicant Status, Rating, Job Title, Job Family, Job Location, Disposition Code, Organization Name, Created Date, and Updated Date.
Click ‘Apply’ to view the list of people matching the filter criteria.
Click ‘Save List’.
You will be prompted to enter a title for the audience list. Click ‘Submit’ to complete the audience list setup. Audience lists will refresh every 24 hours to pull in any new applicants matching the list criteria.
Managing Applicant Audience Lists
From the Applicants tab, click ‘List Manager’.
You can view All Lists, or filter by Active or Archived lists.
Click the ellipses menu to the right of the list you would like to manage.
Select the option you would like.
View and Edit: Opens the audience list and enables the filters to be adjusted.
Duplicate: Creates a copy of the existing list that can be modified to target a new audience.

Creating an Applicant Campaign
To create an Applicant Campaign, click the ‘Messages’ tab, or select ‘Create campaign from list’ in the list manager as outlined above.
Click ‘Create new campaign’.
To use an existing template, click ‘Use Template’.
You can also create a new template by clicking ‘Start from scratch’.
Choose Email or Text to determine how the campaign will be promoted, then click ‘Next’.
Customize the Content
For email campaigns, you will be able to edit the email Subject Line and Body. You can also pull in Dynamic Fields to customize the email body. Choose the Button Link action and Label, and whether or not you would like the jobs to be listed in the message itself. You will also have the option to include Share Links. Click ‘Send Test’ to get a preview of the email.
Click ‘Next’ to select the audience.
For text campaigns, you will be able to edit the campaign name and message body. Click ‘Add Dynamic Fields’ to choose from the available options. Choose the CTA Link.
Click ‘Next’ to select the audience.
Select the Audience
Click ‘Employees’ or ‘Applicants’ to choose your audience type. If you began the campaign creation process from the list manager, the audience type and list will be automatically populated.
Choose the audience list you would like to include in this campaign. Please note, only one list can be selected per campaign.
The list size will be indicated so you know how many people you will be reaching with the campaign. The list count will only include applicants who meet the right criteria. For example, a text campaign using an audience list that includes applicants who have not provided phone numbers will only reflect the number of viable applicants (applicants who have provided phone numbers) in the audience size count.
Click ‘Next’ to schedule the campaign.
Schedule the Campaign
The last step is to set the campaign schedule. For Applicant campaigns, only One-time messages are available. You can schedule a specific date/time for the campaign to begin.
Click 'Schedule Message'.
You will see a confirmation that your campaign is scheduled showing the date/time it will begin, as well as the option to go back and make changes if needed.
