The Beaker Prompt
When you choose to generate a job description with Beaker, a prompt is used to create the job description. This prompt will refer to information entered on the Job Details page to generate a job description. However, it may not always capture all details or may suggest information that differs from your job specifics, so it's important to always review the job description. The prompt, shown below, is already set up in your Hireology account and cannot be edited.
Write me a job description for {{title}} at {{company}}. This is a {{type}} {{category}} job in the {{vertical}} industry. The job is located in {{location}}. The job is a {{management OR individual contributor}} level role with the following {{compensation}}. Please include the following sections: Job Summary, Responsibilities, Requirements, Compensation & Benefits, and an EEOC statement.
Generating Job Descriptions with Beaker
To use Hireology's AI to generate a job description, begin by clicking '+Open a job'.
Choose a job from either the 'Use an existing job' or 'Create a job' list.
Enter the Job Details on the first page. A combination of these details will be pulled in by the AI prompt on the next page to generate your Job Description.
Click 'Next' at the bottom of the page.
Next, click the 'Create with AI' button in the top, right corner of the Job Description section.
Beaker will generate the prompt with ChatGPT. Once complete, the Job Description field will be populated with the following details:
- Job Summary
- Responsibilities
- Requirements
- Compensation & Benefits*
- EEOC Statement
Note: It is important to review the full job description for accuracy to your job specifics. Although the prompt is written to pull information from the Job Details page, AI will sometimes suggest variations that do not include all details. You can return to the previous page, then click 'Next' and generate a new AI suggestion, or you can add in any missing details manually. *Additionally, details like Benefits are suggestions only and may not be relevant to your organization.
