How can I search for candidates?

There are two ways to search for candidates in your Hireology account.  The first is a way to easily look up candidates by name, if you know who you're looking for.  If you don't know who you're looking for, and would like to use your Hireology account as more of a database to search for candidates that have applied to jobs in the past, we offer an 'Advanced Search' for that.

To look up candidates by name, simply click on the magnifying glass and begin typing the candidate's name.  After a few letters, candidates that match your search will appear in the dropdown.  Click on the candidate's name you would like to view to move on.

If you would like to look through candidates that have applied for your open jobs in the past to consider them for new positions, start by clicking on 'Candidates' tab from the Navigation bar at the top of the page.

Here, you can search by name, keywords listed on their resume, phone number, email, location, or tag.

From the quick view once you have your search results, you can see the job(s) the candidate applied to as well as the date and their contact information. If you would like to further refine your search results, you can do so by utilizing the filters on the left hand side of the page.

To review more of the candidate details, simply click on the person's name to navigate to the Candidate Overview page. Now you will be able to see recent activity and their resume. If you would like to drill down even further to review background check data, completed interviews, etc., simply click on the job they applied to for the Candidate Report Card page.
